Can science fiction save the world?

Alright, we have some mixed feelings on Project Hieroglyph. On the one hand, we ourselves have a pretty optimistic view of the future and how devices, sensors, wearables, big data and drones can help us make big strides for the environment, health and humanity.

BUT, we are suckers for a good dystopian book or movie. Armageddon and robots? Sign us up. Kids in an arena fighting to the death? Sure, why not? Somehow, we don’t think optimistic future stories in pop culture will have the same appeal.

In real life though? Now that’s a different story. 🙂
